A Fundamental Study on C. A. I. for Education of Statistics

Abstract

|
This article studies the use of Computer Aided Instruction in introductory statistics, in particular for correlation and regression analysis, and examines the effectiveness of this type of instruction for schooling. Under the theory of educational technology statistics satisfied the need for C.A.I. which is suitable for university students. This courseware meets this need.
Using C.A.I. students not only receive tutoring in statistics, but also they get direct experience using a computer. This results in a high achievement level and is especially effective in a group of students with diverse individual needs and also in very conducive to a distance education program.
